House Rules
BEYOND BASICS – HOUSE RULES
These House Rules are intended to maintain a safe, professional, clean, and respectful work environment for all Members, guests, and visitors using Beyond Basics premises and facilities.
A. General Conduct
- All individuals must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner at all times. The premises are to be used strictly for standard commercial office purposes. Any conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, offensive, or illegal is strictly prohibited.
- Beyond Basics reserves the right to restrict access or take appropriate action in the event of any violation of these House Rules.
B. Use of Shared Workstations
- All workstations are shared and non-dedicated, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- No Member may reserve, mark, or permanently occupy any workstation.
- Workstations must be cleared after use; personal belongings may not be left unattended or overnight.
- Members must maintain cleanliness and leave the workstation ready for the next user.
- Loud conversations, speakerphone calls, or any activity that disrupts others are not permitted.
C. Guests & Visitors
- Guests are permitted only with prior approval from Beyond Basics management.
- Guests may access the premises only when accompanied by a Beyond Basics Member.
- Guests are not permitted to use or occupy workstations.
- Members are fully responsible for the conduct and compliance of their guests with these House Rules while on the premises.
- Beyond Basics reserves the right to deny or revoke guest access at its discretion.
D. Access & Security
- Access to the premises is strictly limited to authorized Members.
- Access credentials (keys, keycards, digital access, or access codes) are non-transferable and for individual use only.
- Sharing, lending, or misuse of access credentials is strictly prohibited.
- Lost or compromised access credentials must be reported immediately.
- The main door must remain closed at all times for safety and security reasons.
E. Deliveries, Parking & Building Facilities
- Deliveries and couriers are permitted only up to the building’s designated entry point.
- Members must arrange a personal collection of their deliveries.
- Beyond Basics does not accept responsibility for receiving, storing, or securing deliveries.
- Parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers is available within the mall premises. Only paid parking is permitted and Members must comply with mall parking rules.
F. Cleanliness, Waste Disposal & Housekeeping
- All food waste, wet waste, and dry waste must be discarded outside the office premises only.
- No waste is to be disposed of inside the workspace or washroom areas.
- Daily cleaning of the premises takes place in the morning. Members shall not cause any hindrance or obstruction during cleaning hours.
- Members are expected to maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
G. Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are strictly prohibited within the premises:
- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal substances or unlawful activities
- Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
- Alcohol, intoxicants, or controlled substances of any kind
- Pets or animals of any kind
- Any activity that compromises safety or disrupts the working environment
Any safety or security concern must be reported to Beyond Basics management immediately.
H. Discrimination, Harassment & Misconduct
- Beyond Basics enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior.
- Discrimination or harassment based on gender, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, gender identity, race, caste, religion, age, disability, nationality, or any characteristic protected under applicable law is strictly prohibited.
- Violations may result in immediate removal from the premises and termination of access.
I. Alcohol & Substance Policy
- Alcohol consumption, possession, or distribution is strictly prohibited on the premises under all circumstances.
- Intoxication, substance abuse, or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
- Any violation may result in immediate removal from the premises and termination of membership or access rights.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Beyond Basics premises. The mall has a designated smoking zone, and Members who wish to smoke may do so only in the designated area, in accordance with mall rules and applicable laws.
J. Internet, Utilities & Shared Amenities
- Members using Beyond Basics internet or Wi-Fi must ensure their devices are updated and free from malware or harmful software.
- Usage must be limited to lawful and professional purposes only.
- Beyond Basics reserves the right to restrict network access for devices posing a security or operational risk.
- Please report any internet or Wi-Fi outage or connectivity issue immediately to Beyond Basics Management.
- The workspace provides hot water and cold water access, a small refrigerator, and tea and coffee facilities, which must be used responsibly and kept clean after use.
K. Energy Usage & End-of-Day Responsibility
- The workspace is open 24 hours.
- If you are the last person to leave, you must ensure that all lights and air-conditioning units are switched off.
- Members must use electricity and utilities responsibly at all times.
L. Plants & Green Areas
- Members must not water the plants. A dedicated team is responsible for plant care.
- Do not damage, move, or interfere with any plants or planters within the premises.
M. Personal Belongings
- All Members are responsible for their personal belongings. Beyond Basics shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
N. Surveillance & Security
- For safety and security purposes, CCTV surveillance may be in operation in common areas, subject to applicable laws.
O. Community Property
- Furniture, equipment, and other items provided for shared use must be handled responsibly. Damage, loss, or misuse may result in replacement or repair charges.
P. Applicability & Amendments
- These House Rules apply to all Members, guests, visitors, and vendors using Beyond Basics premises. Beyond Basics reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
