1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to everyone who takes a membership at, visits, or uses the Beyond Basics shared workspace at 3rd Floor, Prestige Eva Mall, Brigade Road, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru - 560025 (the "Premises"), and to anyone using this website. In these Terms, "Beyond Basics", "we", "us" and "our" mean Beyond Basics, and "you" or "Member" means the person using the Premises or the website.

By booking a desk, paying a membership fee, or entering the Premises, you agree to these Terms, our House Rules and our Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Premises or the website.

2. Your Membership

• A membership gives one named individual the right to use one shared, non-dedicated workstation at the Premises, together with the shared amenities, on a first-come, first-served basis. Desks are not assigned or reserved.
• A membership is personal to you. It cannot be shared, transferred, sub-let or resold.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you join on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
• A membership is a licence to use the Premises. It does not create a lease, tenancy, or any right or interest in the property.
• The Premises may be used only for lawful, professional office work. You may not use the Beyond Basics address as your registered office or for official correspondence without our written consent.

3. Fees & Payment

• The membership fee is ₹14,999 per seat, per month. It covers the workstation and the amenities described on our Pricing page, including Wi-Fi, power backup, printing and scanning facilities, and tea and coffee.
• No security deposit is charged.
• Fees are payable monthly, in advance, before the start of each membership month. Access may be paused until an overdue fee is paid.
• The membership fee is inclusive of GST. There are no extra taxes or charges on top of it.
• We may change the membership fee for future months. We will tell you before the change takes effect, and it will not apply to a month you have already paid for.
• Mall parking and any services provided by third parties are not included and are charged separately by their providers.

4. No Lock-in & Ending Your Membership

• There is no lock-in period. Your membership runs month to month, and you may choose not to renew it at any time by telling us before your next month begins.
• When you leave, your access continues until the end of the month you have paid for. Please clear your belongings and return any access cards or keys on or before your last day.
• We may suspend or end your membership immediately, and ask you to leave the Premises, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or the House Rules, do not pay fees when due, or put the safety of other people or property at risk.
• We may also end a membership for any other reason by giving you reasonable notice. In that case, we will refund the fee for any unused period you have already paid for.

5. Refunds

Because seats are limited and held for you once paid, membership fees are non-refundable, including for days or months you choose not to use. The only exception is the refund described in section 4 when we end a membership without any breach on your part.

6. Access & Opening Hours

• The workspace is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for Members.
• Access cards, keys and codes are for your use only and must not be shared. Report any lost or compromised access credential to us immediately. A replacement may be charged.
• The Premises are inside Prestige Eva Mall. You must follow the mall's own rules, security checks and timings for its common areas, entrances and parking.
• We may need to close all or part of the Premises for a short time for cleaning, maintenance, repairs, emergencies, or instructions from the mall or the authorities. We will give notice where we reasonably can.
• Guests are allowed only with our prior approval and must be accompanied by you at all times, as set out in the House Rules.

7. Services & Amenities

We take reasonable care to keep the internet, power backup, printer, lighting, air-conditioning and other amenities in good working order. However, these depend partly on outside providers and the building, so we cannot guarantee that they will always be available or uninterrupted.

You are responsible for the security of your own devices, data and accounts. Please use your own security software and keep backups. Use of our network must be lawful and professional, and we may restrict a device that poses a security or operational risk.

8. Conduct

You agree to follow the House Rules at all times, including the rules on silence, shared desks, guests, cleanliness, prohibited items, alcohol, smoking, and harassment. You are responsible for the conduct of any guest you bring.

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment and abusive behaviour. Breaking it may lead to immediate removal from the Premises and the end of your membership.

9. Your Belongings & Damage

• You are responsible for your personal belongings. Do not leave items unattended or overnight. Beyond Basics is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal property, except where it is caused by our negligence.
• We do not receive, store or take responsibility for deliveries or couriers.
• You must pay the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing any furniture, equipment, plants or other property at the Premises that is damaged by you or your guests, beyond normal wear and tear.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of India, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
• Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, business, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your membership or from any interruption to the Premises or services.
• Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to your membership is limited to the membership fees you paid us for the month in which the claim arose.

11. Privacy & CCTV

We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. For safety and security, CCTV may be in operation in common areas of the Premises, in line with applicable law.

12. Use of this Website

The content on this website is for general information about Beyond Basics. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but availability, prices and amenities may change. The terms of your membership are set by these Terms and what we confirm to you when you book.

The Beyond Basics name, logo, photographs and website content belong to Beyond Basics and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. If a change materially affects your membership, we will tell you before it applies. Continuing to use the Premises after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve a concern with you directly first. Any dispute that cannot be settled this way will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
